  1. Amber T says:

I am totally going to be at the San Francisco one!

  2. Annie says:

Ahh! My friends and I are super-excited for this. We’re definitely making a trip to NYC.

This will be my first MP3 Experiment, though. How long is it going to last and generally how much time does it take to get from Manhattan to Governor’s Island? Modes of transportation depend greatly on these details.

  3. Charlie Todd says:

7 minute free ferry ride to the island. Ferry is downtown near tons of subways. Get there a few hours early and explore the island before the mission! (and to avoid crowds on the ferry.) More info next week!

  4. Jason says:

It’s on my birthday, Sept. 27th! I hope to make it!

  5. Amanda says:

I’m certainly going to try to make it to the Chicago one, but I’m not sure if that’ll be possible with my schedule. I can’t wait to see how it turns out, even if that just means watching the video of the NYC event once the report is out for it.

  6. kristy says:

hey charlie, just a heads up- the chicago date is the same day as the (60,000+ person) chicago marathon

  7. kristy says:

nope…i lied. its the week after!

  8. Elan says:

is there going to be an MP3 trach that should be downloaded prior to the event?

  9. elan says:

ha goes to show how observant i am… disregard my question >.<

  10. kanntara says:

very exited! Goin’ to the NY one.

  11. Alice says:

I wish I could be there but I have class until 5 :(

  12. Peter says:

No fair! You’re not coming to St. Louis! I don’t think I can make it to any of the others.

  13. GabeMac says:

I can’t wait to see this event. I plugged about it on my daily news show on Mobuzz.tv today so hopefully there will be some more signups! Good luck with the event!

  14. Kathy says:

I wish you guys were coming to Detroit. I would SO be there.

  15. Steve says:

Hey! Im so pumped. I’ve been interested in IE for a long time now and really excited I heard about the upcoming one before it actually passed. A few friends and I are driving from Pennsylvania to do this event. Can’t wait to see how it turns out. The friends I speak of weren’t interested until I showed the video of the last experiment, and now there all for it!

    See you guys on Saturday!

  16. hoozieg says:

    Ahhhh!!! What about the West?

  17. Stig says:

When will the time and mp3 be published for the chicago event?

  18. Annie says:

You forgot to mension the Boston one that was today. It was fabulous. i had an absolute blast!

  19. Cal says:

What’s with the partnership with Yahoo? Must every event be sponsored now?

  20. Charlie Todd says:

    @Cal,

They are making it possible for us to tour it to 3 more cities in addition to New York. They did not have any influence over the content of The Mp3. There won’t be any Yahoo! signs or logos at the event. So while not everyone will be happy to see a “Yahoo!” logo at the end of the video thanking them for their support, we think it’s a pretty fair trade to bring this project to hundreds (maybe thousands?) more people.
