Our fourth Mp3 Experiment was our biggest mission to date. 826 people downloaded the same mp3, pressed play at the same time, and had a blast together on Lower Manhattan’s beautiful waterfront. Enjoy the videos first and then go behind the scenes with our mission report, photos, and audio downloads.
Thanks to the hundreds of people who participated today! We hope you had as much fun as we did! We’ll be combing through the photos and video over the next few days and hope to have a mission report filed by the end of the week. In the meantime, if you were there today you can file your own report by leaving a comment on this post. Let us know how your individual experience was. If you upload your photos to flickr, tag them “mp3experimentfour” and “improveverywhere.” Feel free to post links to your photos here as well. Don’t miss Agent Nicholson and Agent Fountain’s sets.
And if you want to continue worshiping Steve, why not pick up our new “Praise Steve” tee over at Neighborhoodies? It’s available in all sorts of colors, styles, and sizes.
Improv Everywhere is featured in this week’s Time Out New York magazine as part of a story hyped on the cover as “NYC’s most subversive artists.” They ran a nice photo of our Look Up More mission, the new video for which can be seen in the post below this one.
Improv Everywhere causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 85 missions involving thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City.
