Please fill out the form below if you are organizing a regional No Pants Subway Ride event on January 12, 2020. This form should only be filled out by ONE person from your ride. Please note that in many cities The No Pants Subway Ride has already happened several years in a row. In those cities the organizer of the previous year(s) gets preference. I will be posting official links to rides in other cities on January 6 when I put up the big page about the global event. This form will help me organize things more efficiently.

If you are a first time organizer, please note we do not provide a road map for how to organize your ride, but you can easily figure out the logistics by reading the detailed documentation and instructions from years past on our site.

A couple of guidelines so that everyone is on the same page:

Name of the event = The No Pants Subway Ride
It is not “No Pants Day,” “No Pants Mob,” “No Pants Parade,” “No Pants Portland” or anything else. When titling your event please always call it “No Pants Subway Ride.” Add the name of your city like this: No Pants Subway Ride [name of city], e.g. No Pants Subway Ride Chicago. You can also add the year of course: No Pants Subway Ride Chicago 2020. Obviously it’s OK to translate the name of the event into your native language, but keep these guidelines in mind. If your event is not on a “subway”, it is OK to name it accordingly but please make clear it is part of the greater event, e.g. No Pants Bus Ride Columbus, part of the global No Pants Subway Ride. Also please note that this event is not a “flash mob.” Please don’t use that term to describe it in print or in interviews.

Attribution
You must include the following sentence of attribution on any site you create to promote your ride (your own website, blog, or Facebook event) – “The No Pants Subway Ride is an annual global event started by Improv Everywhere in New York in 2002.” Please also link to http://improveverywhere.com in this sentence, or next to this sentence.

Message
There is no message! The No Pants Subway Ride is a “celebration of silliness” and nothing more. It is absurdity for absurdity’s sake. Please do not attach a political message, charitable cause, or sponsorship to your ride.

Thanks for being a part of the fun!
