The feature-length documentary film about Improv Everywhere, We Cause Scenes, is officially set to premiere January 7th, 2014 for direct download online and on iTunes! Here’s more from the filmmaking team:

Hello Improv Everywhere Fans! We’re excited to share our brand new movie poster with you and officially announce our release date.

Improv Everywhere founder Charlie Todd and his wife Cody Lindquist are featured in the image, a reference to the annual No Pants Subway Ride. We certainly got some strange looks shooting this photo, which we shot on a live platform in the traditional Improv Everywhere guerrilla style. We took over 1,500 photos to get the perfect shot. Over the course of the photo shoot, hundreds of puzzled commuters stopped to watch, laugh, and take photos of their own.
