Improv Everywhere causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 80 missions involving thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City.

That is sweet. I should do something like that sometime. My brothers were in a little league team before, and I know some people in the league. Maybe something will happen. We’ll see.
Video is dead :/
Oh no sorry, It isn’t >.<
Very Nice, but i would liked it better, if they would have split up and cheered both teams like the improv guys did it with baseball.
Props to the swedes!
Looks like it was good fun - and that Swedes will go out in cold weather is wonderful.
I’m glad it didn’t affect Huddinge’s performance/ego. Most IE missions make a point of supporting both sides in such competitions.
i think it would have been great if you cheered for both teams, that would have made it enjoyable for all the kids.
Subtitles when your at work with no sound rocks!
That looked like so much fun.
Liza - they are speaking in Swedish, and there is obviously an English-speaking audience, so that’s why there are subtitles.
As for the video, I thought it was great, though IE did just a tad better. I think that the fact that IE had “supporters” for both teams made it a little bit better, in addition to all the extras (TV broadcast, Goodyear blimp, etc.).
hey guys.. i was there at the game. it was hilarious.
i saw that some of u said it would have been better if we cheered for both teames, but the fact is, the other loved it too, cause it was a really friendly atmosphere and their parents started cheering like crazy too haha..u can actually see after the game that the other team has smiles on their faces too!
“Kanske en konstig föreläsning om stenar….” HA HAHAHA!!
AWSOME!!!!!
How fun that the video creator found some Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass music aswell :D
Vad heter gruppen på Facebook förresten, o gäller den bara Stockholm?
I think its called football.
Much better than IE’s baseball stint–because it’s more organic.
We should do this for a golf tournament…show up and root for the last place guy for all 18 holes.
Quote by Sam: “I think its called football.”
Yes, it is called football (or “association football”), if you are based in anywhere other than the United States or Canada. In the U.S. or Canada, football is a very different game that is similar to rugby and is usually referred to in countries other than the U.S. or Canada as “American football” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_football). The term “soccer” was a slang abbreviation for “association football” that appeared in England in the 1880’s, and it apparently caught on in the United States, especially since the word “football” was already used more often for American football. Hence, European football = association football = soccer, while American football is similar to rugby football (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rugby_football). Due to the fact that Improv Everywhere is based in the United States (New York City), the term “soccer” is used because calling it football would make people think it was American football.
Personally, I think that football (in the association sense) makes more sense than American football, since you use your feet a lot more in the European version (the only use of feet in the American version to kick the ball is during kickoffs, punts, and field goals). However, I didn’t decide the terminology (since I wasn’t alive in 1880, let alone 1980).
I hope that helps!
This is one of the best ways a ‘gag’ or improve to help others (without mocking them). I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ever seen IE do… but these acts of kindness are my favs.
This is so awsome :D
Id like to know what the name of the group is, and the link for their facebook page !
i know there is this http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=15754904668
but is it the same one ?
