There are a few new global missions to report from groups organized on our IE Global site:
- The folks from Scene Diego gave out coupons for “free massages” in the (always free) massage chairs at a Sharper Image in Philadelphia.
- The Boston Society of Spontaneity had a beach party in and around their subway.
- IE Global agents in Greece fell asleep together in a mall.
In the meantime the global freeze phenomenon continues. New freezes have taken place in Barcelona, Paris, Shanghai, and Prague. We’ve been keeping a comprehensive list of all of the freeze missions. The current count is 40 events in 22 different countries.
We’ve also received a bit of recent press. We were featured on German television, Al Jazeera English, and PRI’s Fair Game.

well done! keep it up
We just finished up a mission in Chapel Hill, NC tonight! As soon as our (sometimes) camerawoman gets the video edited together, I’ll write up the mission report and post it over at Global!

We had a new event in Stockholm recently. Over 500 people (maybe 1000 im not sure) went to a little league soccer game and rooted for one team vigorously. The kids were 10 years old, they had absolutely no idea that on a game where the average number of attendees reaches a maximum of 20 people (their parents) there was going to be a massive influx of people dressed in red (the teams colours), bringing flags, fireworks and wonderful chants.
The event was a success and we were featured on national television and the country’s biggest daily newspaper wrote about the event the next day.
