Global Roundup: New Stuff from Singapore and San Diego

IE Global

A few new missions to report from our IE Global site. The first is from Scene Diego, the local IE Global group out in San Diego, CA. They got 7 agents to infiltrate a Starbucks and then fall asleep.

The IE Global group in Singapore also staged a “sleeping in public” mission, getting a dozen or so agents to fall asleep by a public fountain.

Finally, one more from Scene Diego, 70 agents use a “banana phone” in a San Diego mall.

Thanks to Global Agent J.A. Riley from Atlanta for designing the new Improv Everywhere Global graphic, seen above.

The people in the last video are completely crazy!

I mean, who the hell eats phones??

The banana phone is GREAT! I need to check the global site to see what groups, if any, are in Pennsylvania. Hopefully we can come up with someone just as good!

I loved the banana phone! :D
The ’sleeping in public’ mission’s cool; too bad large groups aren’t allowed in Singapore.

The banana phone was a genius idea. Eating them in the end just made it ten times better. :D

I’ve watched the Banana Wireless 4 times & it’s hysterical! Fabulous job. Perfect music. And I love the punchline where everyone eats their phones in the foodcourt. Great fun and a marvelous idea. “Bluetooth & great texting capabilities…” It’s a hoot!

Hehe, this wouldn’t work here in Japan because everyone sleeps here anywhere at any time. This is a land of zombies.

They should make a video where a group of people go onto a Tokyo train and stay awake. That would be freaky!

How funny would it be, if there would be “commercial” one or two weeks before the banana event. There are wallpapers with the phone and days later people are actually walking around with the ibanana. “a fair trade, bio-technologie”

Is it a bad thing that Banana Phone has been my cell phone’s ring tone for almost a year now? :D

I’ve always wanted to do something like this.

Ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, Banana Phone! Boop oop doopie doop. ^_^

Hey you did one in Singapore! I wished I saw it man, I work down the street! But based on the culture here, passerbys would think people are queuing up for something. Haha..

My fren and I planning to do a freeze at a train station on 2nd May 2008 in the afternn. We’re still recruting people though. Hopefully it’ll be kickass haha! Any Singaporeans who wanna join on that day? ;)

Have not noticed this anywhere yet in Singapore but it would definitely be crazy! I wonder if Nora managed to perform the freeze?
