Should you happen to be in Seoul on November 17th, some folks are organizing their own Mp3 Experiment over there.

Agent El Colin informs us,
Inspired by your MP3 experiments, three collaborators in Seoul, South Korea, myself included, are going to hold a Bilingual MP3 experiment next week!
I am not sure if it is the first Bilingual MP3 experiment. Agent Nae Moo came up with the idea and Agent Danny translated the omnipotent voice into Korean!
There will be two MP3’s, one in English, one in Korean. I did my best to match up the commands but we will see if things get lost in translation. I will send pictures and video if I can and some info when it is completed.
Good luck guys!

Last night the Paley Center For Media (formerly known as the Museum of Television and Radio) hosted an interview with the Upright Citizens Brigade to celebrate the release of season 2 of their Comedy Central show on DVD. Matt Walsh was unable to attend, so our own Agent Wimpy was asked to pose as a fake Walsh.

“Matt Walsh”, Ian Roberts, Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, and The Onion’s Todd Hanson as moderator
Agent Wimpy adds this gig to his previous list of impersonations including Anton Chekov and Babershop Quartet Member.
You can see all four members of the UCB improvise this Sunday at Irving Plaza in New York (the real Walsh will be there this time):

UPDATE: Neighborhoodies was given a “cease and desist” letter from Best Buy about these shirts and subsequently took them down. We got a “cease and desist” of our own as well. See it here.
It’s the shirt that’s a prank! Wear our new Improv Everywhere blue polo shirt into a Best Buy and you’ll cause a scene without even trying. It features our yellow Improv Everywhere price tag logo stitched on, and looks exactly like a real Best Buy uniform! Just add a pair of khakis and you’re ready to do your own version of our infamous Best Buy Mission. Get the shirt, try the mission on your own, and let us know how it goes. Remember to take photos!

Time Out New York included us in their “Essential” issue this week where they featured top secret information about essential New York things.

Improv Everywhere
WHY ESSENTIAL:
Although Improv Everywhere creates some of the flat-out funniest scenes in New York, you won’t see them in any theater. And unless you join the group’s e-mail list, you won’t know when the performances happen, either. Founder Charlie Todd eschews mean-spirited pranks and says his goal—and that of his cadre of agents—is simply “to make scenes happen.†This could involve putting a bathroom attendant in a McDonald’s or staging an Olympic-trial synchronized-swimming practice in Washington Square Park fountain. Watch footage of past stunts on its website, and then join in the next one.
THE SECRET:
“Two U.S. senators—who requested anonymity—have participated in Improv Everywhere missions,†claims Todd. “Improv Everywhere missions never take place on odd-numbered streets, and if you plot all of the Improv Everywhere missions on a map of Manhattan, it creates a giant smiley face.â€
