The Mp3 Experiment continues to spread across the globe as regional groups stage their own experiments. Some students at Penn State recently held an Mp3 Experiment that had about 50 participants. It looks like they borrowed some of Agent Walker’s awesome music for the intro, but I guess we can’t complain since we’ve borrowed plenty of pop songs for experiments past.
If you stage your own experiment, be sure to let us know about it. We have an entire forum on our message board dedicated to helping people stage their own, including a full mp3 of our first experiment that can be used anywhere. If you want to hire us to come to your school, place of work, town, etc. and make a custom mp3 experiment for you, send us an email and we’ll talk.
See below for a couple of videos of the Penn State experiment.

Hey, I organized the mp3 experiment at PSU; sorry about using some of your music, I just felt it was just great to help set the mood of the experiment. At the end of our mp3 we did let everyone know that we were directly inspired by Improv Everywhere and we told everyone to come check out your site- so don’t worry, we didn’t just take your ideas and claim them as our own!
No worries, Jeff. You guys did a great job!
Hey…I want to try out my own experiment, where do you guys get the lyric-less music from? And to the PSU guys…great job, looks like it came out well!
Micah,
Our own Agent Walker made all of our music himself. Keep in mind there’s info on our message board for how to download the 1st mp3 experiment and stage it yourself.
Cool, i’ll check that out…thanks =]
