Our favorite photographer Chad Nicholson has a curated his favorite Improv Everywhere photos for a gallery exhibition at Eyebeam here in Manhattan. Agent Kula attended the opening and snapped some photos of the photos. Check out Kula’s coverage.
If you’re in the NYC area, check out the show. It features lots of other cool artists creating art in public places and is free and open to the public. It runs until April 7.
We’ve completely overhauled improveverywhere.com and transferred our old site to this new, shiny wordpress-based site. Hopefully it will be easier to use and easier on the eyes. The search box on the sidebar should make any of our past entries just a few clicks away, and our RSS Feed should make it easy for everyone to stay updated on our latest news and missions. Let us know what you think about the new site in the comments.
Thanks to IE Tech Agent Wade Minter for helping with the redesign.
If you’re visiting our site because you saw our profile on This American Life’s new Showtime television show, welcome!
We have over 60 different “missions” here on our site, three of which were covered in the TV show. Our missions page catalogs all of our past antics by date. To get you started here are the links to the missions covered by TAL:
Improv Everywhere causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 70 missions involving thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City.
