But I wish I had! Once I'd gotten to know people there I realized this would've gone over really well - in my experience (I'm 50 now) most racial hostility is all in the imagination. We percieve that someone wont like us based on race when, in fact, most folks would like to be friends with most folks and "flush" racism where it should go - down the drain.
